Growth Environment

Growing on rocks under forests, 1000-1600 meters above sea level.

Cultivation

Tupistra Fungilliformis is a relatively low-maintenance plant. Here are some tips on how to care for it:

  • Water: Water the plant regularly, but make sure to let the soil dry out between waterings. Overwatering can cause root rot.
  • Fertilization: Fertilize the plant once a month during the growing season with a balanced fertilizer.
  • Soil: Use well-draining soil that is rich in organic matter. Tupistra Fungilliformis prefers slightly acidic soil with a pH between 5.5 and 6.5.
  • Sunlight: The plant prefers bright, indirect light, but it can also tolerate low light conditions.

Pests & Diseases

Tupistra Fungilliformis is generally resistant to pests and diseases, but it can still be affected by the following:

Spider mites: These tiny insects can cause yellowing and browning of the leaves. Use insecticidal soap to get rid of them.

Scale insects: These insects can cause yellowing and wilting of the leaves. Use horticultural oil to get rid of them.

Root rot: Overwatering can cause the roots to rot. Make sure to let the soil dry out between waterings.
